Duration of individual therapy:
Therapy may range from as little as four session or continue for years, depending on the needs of the client and the approach used. Read up on my approach here.
The amount of sessions are determined by a range of factors, including the difficulties that the client is experiencing and the goals that they may have for therapy. I do not recommend that a client commits to a certain number of sessions beforehand as each therapeutic journey is different. The number of sessions should be discussed between the client and psychologist.
